The US military soldiers are luckier than soldiers of many other
countries. This is because of the Military pay scale in the United
States. They follow a scale to correspond with their designations.
There are also other benefits that are included in the Military
pay scale. These benefits are enlistment bonuses,
housing allowances, retirement pays, tax redemptions and travel
discounts.
The Military pay scale is formatted in a manner that officer’s
salary or pay can easily ensconce the officer’s expense.

The Military pay includes “Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay”
for the soldiers, which entitles them a special pay of $ 150 per
month, for performing hazardous military duties.
The FY 2005 Military Appropriations Act and the FY 2005 Authorization
Act have now become law. In fact, the last bill signed by President
Bush in October, 2004 named HR 400 under the FY 2005 Military
Authorization Act included a 3.5 per cent base pay raise for all
the military personnel. It is also expected that the year 2006
will bring a basic military pay hike of 3.1 per cent, higher housing
allowances, health and educational benefits for US Military. These
shall be additional gems to the package of military pay.
As far as training is concerned, there are enough resources and
academies that prepare a candidate to be fit for being a member
of the US military and even provide enough college
scholarships. These college scholarships take care
of all the expenses of the students from the fee expenses to accommodation
and provision of loans.
Even military jobs
can easily be found online for all age groups and for both men
and women; and so military jobs are not too big a concern.
